About
Six album covers on a ring, each one a curved segment of a single cylinder, so the shelf closes into a circle rather than a hexagon. Spin it, pick a cover, and the card unrolls off the ring into a record that turns and plays. Take hold of the record and it scrubs, one way forward and the other way back. The wall behind takes four colours sampled from the cover art. The grooves are not geometry: one row of pixels is painted in canvas 2D, where x is radius, and the shader samples it by radius, so the whole texture budget goes into the groove profile and the GPU picks its own mip at every distance.
